Anyway I think that most of us agree that the default Ubuntu wallpaper is weird (I’m being kind here, thrust me ). Having said that Oneiric has the best community wallpapers in any Ubuntu release to date But still having a couple of more wallpaper is always a good thing, isn’t it? I am gonna start with the 1920×1080 “Open Mind” wallpaper. Those of you who like simplicity are trully gonna love it!
My second suggestion is one of my personal favourites. Sadly it is only 1024×640 size, but it will look awesome on netbook and laptops:
And so we come to my third wallpaper I’ve picked for you. It is called Aurora and it is 2560×1600, so one size fits all 
Ubuntu 11.10 is not called “Oneiric Ocelot” for nothing, so the next four wallpapers will have ocelots in them. Starting with this 1024x

Time to switch to Hi-res with this purple-ish Ocelot wallpaper. This 2560×1600 awesomness will fit almost anywhere and thrust me it will look ruddy gorgeous:
Among the other things Ubuntu can do, it is also perfect for the cloud, so this wallpaper is to demonstrate just that. It has the light and airy feeling that makes it trully amazing and relaxing. Just try it!
The last of my Ocelot collection is to warn things up a bit. It features smooth and dark background and a relaxing looking ocelot. Just the prefect candidate for a cozy desktop
Had enough ocelots? I bet! Now it’s time to switch to the stuff that I’m quite sure everybody loves – AGNETHA … ahem I meant BUBBLES! No I mean it, who doesn’t like bubbles and pancakes? Only evil guys! This next wallpaper is for netbook users and I just love it. It is just so simple and nice looking. Resolution is 1024×576:
The ninth wallpaper I choose is really some piece of work. If I have to pick one word to describe it, it would be magnificent. Just get it ASAP
