Google has announced the launch of a new blog for their mobile devices, the Official Android Blog, which will take over from their Google Mobile blog going forward.
This means that Google will close down the Official Mobile blog, and the new Android Blog will be the place to get all the news from Google on what is happening with Android and their mobile devices.

A few months ago, we asked what content you wanted to see more of on the Google Mobile Blog, and the answer was quite clear: more Android! We launched +Android on Google+ and now we’ve launched the Official Android Blog, a new place for you to find all the latest news from the Android team.
Going forward, the new Android Blog will be a must-read for anyone interested in the latest news like today’s Google Wallet announcement. Thanks for being such a great audience over the years.
Android blog itself is new, it looks like Google has already aggregated a lot of previous contents to this new blog. Any previous news that was posted in other older official Google blog posts are now also cross-posted to this official Android blog. Google’s every day new news on android continues…… :)
